Some of my favorite replacements:
MILK:
Unsweetened Almond Milk (unflavored)
Unsweetend Soy Milk (unflavored)
BUTTERMILK:
Add 1 tsp apple cider vinegar to each cup of non-dairy milk and set aside for a couple minutes
1 EGG =
1 TBSP Ground Flax Seed mixed with 3 TBSP Water
1/4 cup silken tofu, blended
1/2 a banana, blended
1/4 cup soy or coconut yogurt
Earth Balance Nonhydrogenated Buttery Sticks
Earth Balance Nonhydrogenated Vegetable Shortening
Unrefined Coconut Oil
